NOTE: Computer pictured does not represent the Home Lab computer that will be provided to the student.

This course will focus on honing the knowledge developed in Course 2 with understanding how various “symptoms” are created from various part malfunctions, some of which are not always obvious. It is important to understand how to identify and remove / replace each component in a computer, along with navigating the BIOS. Course 2 or equivalent experience is required to take this course, and it is REQUIRED the student have a “home lab” computer (provided in course 2)

We will be performing these on the “home lab” computer purchased for Course 2. If a “home lab” (tinkering) computer is not available, we can provide one for a small additional fee. You do NOT want these activities being performed on a computer that’s in use by other people, as it WILL result in data loss.

The student will receive an upgraded toolkit and 256GB Flash Drive that are theirs to keep for their “home lab”. The Flash Drive will be loaded with a myriad of open-source, or licensable utilities we use to troubleshoot computer problems. Please note, some of the utilities require licensing before they can be used for commercial purposes.

For an overview, please see the description tab below.

Completion of Course 2 is REQUIRED to take this course!

NOTE: The course is expected to be released and available by December 2024. However, this earlybird sale ends September 30th.
